We paid £540 for a superior king room for three nights&four days, breakfast included and a mini bar in the room! In the mini bar you got 2 single serve of bottles of each red and white wine each was 14% I think, which was restocked daily along with 2 bottles of beer, 2 bottles of water&2 bottles of Pepsi. The bed was extremely comfortable, the water pressure on the shower is well worth getting up in the morning. Standing under it for 1 minute just gets rid of all the stress or worries you have. The shower just hits different. The outside patio, with a glass or 4 of the complimentary wine with a good book in the sun, just makes trip worth while. You can pay £8.50 for 100 balls and an iron golf club(not into golf so unsure of the proper names!) for the driving range which provided me and my partner an hour and half filled of laughter with how bad we was at golfing, this experience we shared together was amazing. All of the other golfers around us didn’t judge us on how bad we were, they just offered us tips on how to stand, to practice swing before you hit the ball and offered us golf balls out of their own bucket to get the hang of it which was really nice and made us feel very welcome. The staff at the hotel were very attentive and happy to help with any enquiries we had. The food we had was delicious, worth every penny, buying the bottle of wine with your food at £20-£40 a bottle makes more sense than buying a glass at £10-£20. I’m not sure just because we’re young we go the extra mile. Me&my partner spent our 3 year anniversary here and it was made extremely special for us and we can’t wait to return, for the friendly staff! We hope to make our next trip for our 3&1/2 year anniversary just because of how much closer it brought us. It really is a special experience, wish we could return sooner but working for NHS makes it hard to get the time off, is the only thing stopping us!

Very welcoming staff, our dog was also made welcome, rather than just tolerated. I guess the subterranean room with a view of the wall opposite was a 'dog-friendly' room, as a bit dark, but given the hot weather, it was cool and suited us, when others were complaining about the heat in their rooms. Lovely well kept grounds, lots of outside seating. Large restaurant, accepting late booking. Very 'buzzy', with lots going on, but no noise at night. Good sized pool and health facilities. The resort is near enough the city for quick access, but far enough out to be quiet and countrified.

Beautiful architecture. Some lovely areas to enjoy. Decent swimming pool and room was large enough for a single night stay. Good breakfast with enough choice and quality for omnivores (not sure about vegetarian or vegan though) - coffee could be better but liked the choice of juices. Staff were helpful and friendly and despite the hotel being fairly busy it felt relaxed and spacious. Bathroom was clean and well appointed. Tea/coffee provided in room nicely done and hairdryer/iron and ironing board a nice touch of you need it.

Richard

The room was very comfortable and certainly large enough for a short stay. The swimming pool and steam room were very nice and we made good use of them. The gym seemed large and well equipped although we didn't use it. We ate in both the bar and the main restaurant in the evenings and the food was good both times although the staff were very young and seemed inexperienced but they did their best.

Ronald

I am disabled and the room I got after one night was very suitable and comfortable, the staff were universally very kind and attentive. I had to ask the diningroom staff to get me a chair with arms and at breakfast to fetch my coffee and they were always very happy to do all that no matter how busy. The hotel could do with some upgrading but it so happened that it suited me.
