We paid £540 for a superior king room for three nights&four days, breakfast included and a mini bar in the room! In the mini bar you got 2 single serve of bottles of each red and white wine each was 14% I think, which was restocked daily along with 2 bottles of beer, 2 bottles of water&2 bottles of Pepsi. The bed was extremely comfortable, the water pressure on the shower is well worth getting up in the morning. Standing under it for 1 minute just gets rid of all the stress or worries you have. The shower just hits different. The outside patio, with a glass or 4 of the complimentary wine with a good book in the sun, just makes trip worth while. You can pay £8.50 for 100 balls and an iron golf club(not into golf so unsure of the proper names!) for the driving range which provided me and my partner an hour and half filled of laughter with how bad we was at golfing, this experience we shared together was amazing. All of the other golfers around us didn’t judge us on how bad we were, they just offered us tips on how to stand, to practice swing before you hit the ball and offered us golf balls out of their own bucket to get the hang of it which was really nice and made us feel very welcome. The staff at the hotel were very attentive and happy to help with any enquiries we had. The food we had was delicious, worth every penny, buying the bottle of wine with your food at £20-£40 a bottle makes more sense than buying a glass at £10-£20. I’m not sure just because we’re young we go the extra mile. Me&my partner spent our 3 year anniversary here and it was made extremely special for us and we can’t wait to return, for the friendly staff! We hope to make our next trip for our 3&1/2 year anniversary just because of how much closer it brought us. It really is a special experience, wish we could return sooner but working for NHS makes it hard to get the time off, is the only thing stopping us!

Parking was easy. All of the impressive buildings were well maintained. Rooms were a good size, clean and with comfy beds. We had booked three rooms and were close together as requested. All staff were pleasant, friendly and professional. We were nervous when we saw the traffic light advice for breakfast times but we never had to wait even when it was busy, with staff working hard to make sure all was well. Our evening meal was very enjoyable - good service and no pressure to hurry. During the day leisure staff were excellent and the pool great. Our golfers really enjoyed the course and driving range. The snooker table in the clubhouse was a welcome bonus. With good weather we spent time relaxing on the large terrace listening to the birdsong. A shopping trip into Norwich was easy taking only about 15 minutes.

The trip was booked at the last minute, so we chose a deluxe room, as we were at the hotel last month in a standard room which was ok, just no view. We had a smaller window this time but had a reasonable view. The bath panel looked a bit tired with a cracked floor tile, and the wardrobe doors were a little difficult to slide open. Food in the evening was top notch, great service, especially with an allergy present, there were willing to listen and not over dramatise the issue. Breakfast was lovely, good choice of everything, even had decent apple juice. Maybe move the smoking area away from your lovely frontage,

The food was really nice. It was fresh, tasty and just lovely. Most of the staff were friendly and so helpful where some were not friendly, but not rude just a little less friendly, not the end of the world. The bar terrace was lovely especially as the sun was out, great location. The hotel itself in general was nice had a great feel about it. I would definitely go back. It room was nice, clean and quint. It was in the manor itself and in the attic. I did live the little touch of stone beer and wine in the fridge which was complimentary, that was a nice touch. The leisure facilities was nice and clean.

Breakfast choice excellent service good, Lounge restaurant some staff not very welcoming, However we had a exceptional service from Hope she is a very efficient host and made us feel very welcome with attention to detail, Hope was always cheerful and made sure all our needs met including our granddaughter to whom looked forward to going to the Lounge to show Hope her pretty new dress, Mildred the Crocodile and treasures of her stay including her plaster from cutting her foot in the pool.
